Local 367, a part of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States, Canada, Ireland, and Australia, is a union that represents plumbers, pipefitters, welders, HVAC technicians, water and wastewater, and natural gas utility workers, as well as contractors. Our local union office is located at 610 W 54th Ave in Anchorage, Alaska, and our JATC Training Center is located at 617 W Potter Dr in Anchorage, Alaska.
History of Local 367
Local Union No. 367 was issued its charter on July 2, 1938, by the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada. The United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters was officially born on October 11, 1889, when forty delegates from twenty-three Local Unions traveled to Washington, D.C. to attend the founding convention. Plumbers and Pipefitters organizations from cities across the nation applied for charters in this new organization. It was forty nine years after the International Union was formed that Local Union No. 367 received their charter.

Services
Our union offers a variety of services, including:
Health and Welfare
- Eligibility status, id cards, enrollment forms, and claim administration
Training
- Apprenticeship program teaching plumbers, pipefitters, welders, and service technicians the trade
- Continuing education opportunities through our JATC
Veteran's Administration
- Our JATC is an approved training program for Veterans education benefits
Donation Requests
- Our union donates to a number of organizations and causes
Training for Alaska's Future
At Local 367, we believe in the importance of training and education for our members and the industry as a whole. Our JATC offers apprenticeship training and continuing education opportunities, ensuring that our members have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their careers.
Open House Nights
The Training Center will hold open house nights the third Wednesday of each month from 4pm to 7pm. Everyone is welcome and no appointment is necessary. Information will be available on our membership and apprenticeship program overview. There will be a walk-through of the shop and classrooms, and the shop will be open for current members.
