Our Story

Our journey began in 1989 when Steve Shafer, the company's founder, started his first business in Nevada as a solar contractor. He later moved to Orange County, California, where he specialized in solar systems and water filtration and purification systems. In 1989, Steve married Ruthe and together they opened the doors to Shafer Plumbing Contractors. Since then, we have grown from a small operation to a full-service plumbing company, serving a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
