Our story began in Europe, where Jack Berleth and his two sons, Frank and Henry, honed their skills in the noble trade of plumbing and heating. They brought their pursuit of excellence to the United States in 1947, establishing a loyal client base through their attention to detail, commitment, and reliability. After Jack's passing in 1973, Frank and Henry continued to expand the business, adding new construction roughing, underground irrigation, boiler and water heater installation, repair work, and fixture replacements to their services.

In the years that followed, the company continued to grow under the leadership of Frank and Henry, who were both active members of the Huntington volunteer fire department. When Frank passed away, Henry's son-in-law, Steven Kennaugh, took over the reins and expanded the business further by introducing bathroom remodeling as a specialty service. Over the years, Steven has guided countless homeowners through the often-stressful process of bathroom remodeling, earning him a reputation as an expert in this field.

At Jack Berleth & Sons, Inc., we believe in giving back to our community. We have been actively involved in various areas of community service, including the Huntington Town Plumbing Board, where Henry and Steven have served as members, reviewing applications and conducting exams for new plumbers seeking licensing. Steven has also dedicated his time to local Boy Scout Troop 78 and has donated his services to the Huntington Holiday House, which provides summer camp experiences to underprivileged girls. We have had the privilege of being involved with Building Homes for Heroes, modifying a home for a returning local hero who lost his legs in Afghanistan. Additionally, we are proud partners with the Huntington Breast Cancer Action Coalition, which offers support, education, and awareness to those in need.
