Our History and Mission

Bulldog Plumbing was founded in 1992 by Jim Barlow in Stone Mountain, GA, as Jim's Bulldog Plumbing Co. Inc. During the height of the class-action lawsuit against the manufacturers of polybutylene pipe, Jim's Bulldog Plumbing became one of the leading contractors in the state of Georgia that was hired to handle the replacement of this faulty pipe. Literally tens of thousands of homes in the Atlanta area were served by Jim's Bulldog Plumbing, specifically by blue polybutylene yard service line replacements. This is how we started and how our reputation grew. In 1999, Mr. Barlow, a very well respected man in the plumbing community, retired and sold the business to his son-in-law, Jeff Guinn. Jeff and his family moved to the Grayson area at that time, and re-established as Bulldog Plumbing Company in beautiful downtown Grayson. We have been serving Grayson and Gwinnett & Walton County ever since. There's a bible verse in Colossians 3:23 that says, "Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men". That means integrity. Our mission statement summed up is that we want to give you our best, knowing that we are serving the Lord by serving you. We strive to be on time, to fix your plumbing problems without taking shortcuts, to communicate in a professional and caring way. We let you know up front what the charge will be before we start the work, and we strive to leave you smiling as we are pulling out of your driveway. Our vision is to become a trusted pillar in our community, building long-lasting relationships with our customers while providing high quality service at a fair price.
